Indian farmers await the 18th tranche of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana between October and November, 2024. This scheme by the government then disburses ₹6,000 per year in three instalments of ₹2,000 each. The amount of the 17th tranche was credited in June, 2024, benefiting more than 11 crore farmers.
All that for the 18th installment of PM Kisan Yojana, they have to update those things like EKYC verification, linking Aadhaar with bank account and getting all their land records verified. And these are must process to obtain payments through DBT system.

As an alternative, there’s an easy way to see farmer’s eligibility status on the official PM Kisan portal pmkisan.gov.in, with a “Know Your Status” feature.
The next step, a much-needed shot in the arm for agriculture income, is further support for managing cost-based agriculture. The scheme has been a big effort on the part of the government to revive the rural agricultural economy.
