Selected candidates will undergo six months of orientation and on-the-job training and must sign a service agreement to serve BEL for two years, with a breach amount of Rs 2,00,000. Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per company standards, and colour blindness is not suitable for either discipline.
How selection works
The computer-based test carries 85 marks of weightage and the interview 15 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a 1:5 ratio, discipline-wise and category-wise, and final selection will be based on combined performance.
The test will have 125 questions in 120 minutes: 100 technical questions and 25 on general aptitude and reasoning. Each wrong answer loses a quarter mark. Candidates must score at least 35 percent in both stages if they are UR, OBC or EWS, and at least 30 percent in each stage if they are SC, ST or PwBD.
