Mumbai got a full dose of Italian horsepower this week. Maserati has unveiled five models in India in one go, ranging from the Rs 1.14 crore Grecale SUV to the Rs 5.72 crore GT2 Stradale supercar, and opened a new flagship showroom in the city to go with them. It is the biggest single statement the Trident brand has made in India in years, and it comes with a clear message: Maserati wants to be taken seriously in one of the world’s fastest growing luxury car markets.
The unveiling took place in Mumbai on October 30 at the formal launch of Navnit Maserati, the brand’s new retail partner for the region. Maserati chief executive Santo Ficili, who also leads Alfa Romeo, flew in for the event, his first visit to India since taking charge. The new showroom sits at Trade Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex and will serve as the brand’s main hub for Mumbai and western India.
Five cars, one stage
The line-up presented in Mumbai covers nearly every corner of Maserati’s range. There is the updated Grecale SUV, the refreshed GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible, the MCPura supercar and its open-top sibling, and the track-bred GT2 Stradale making its India debut. The refreshed core models were first shown globally earlier in 2026 as part of the updates marking 100 years of Maserati’s Trident logo.
For buyers, the headline is the spread of prices. The range starts at Rs 1.14 crore and runs all the way to Rs 5.72 crore, all ex-showroom. That gives Maserati something to offer a first-time luxury SUV buyer and a collector chasing a race car for the road, all under one roof.
Grecale: the entry point, at Rs 1.14 crore
The Grecale is where most new Maserati customers in India will start. The updated SUV comes in five versions. The entry Grecale, with 300 hp, is priced at Rs 1.14 crore. Above it sit the Modena 330 at Rs 1.29 crore and the Modena 390 at Rs 1.39 crore, the latter with a Nettuno-derived V6. The 530 hp Trofeo tops the petrol range at Rs 2 crore, while the all-electric Grecale Folgore is priced at Rs 1.90 crore.
The facelift brings sharper styling aligned with the MCPura supercar, along with updated technology inside. For a brand that has traditionally been a rare sight on Indian roads, the Grecale is the volume play.

GranTurismo and GranCabrio: grand touring, two ways
The GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio convertible form the grand touring heart of the range, and each comes in three versions. The GranTurismo starts at Rs 2.62 crore for the 490 hp version, rises to Rs 2.80 crore for the 590 hp Trofeo, and tops out at Rs 3.14 crore for the all-electric Folgore. The GranCabrio follows the same pattern at a premium for open-top driving: Rs 2.91 crore, Rs 3.10 crore and Rs 3.30 crore respectively.
Both cars get revised exterior styling with a more aggressive front end. The electric Folgore versions also gain range, with Maserati quoting more than 540 km on the WLTP cycle, an improvement of around 80 km over before. It is a reminder that even in the world of grand tourers, electric power is no longer a side note.
MCPura and GT2 Stradale: the dream machines
At the top of the bill sit the cars that will fill posters and phone wallpapers. The MCPura coupe is priced at Rs 4.35 crore, and the open-top MCPura Cielo at Rs 5.20 crore. Then there is the GT2 Stradale, announced at Rs 5.72 crore, making it the most expensive Maserati on sale in India.
The GT2 Stradale is the road-legal version of Maserati’s GT2 race car, the machine that brought the brand back to covered-wheel racing. Built in Modena, it sends its Nettuno V6 power to the rear wheels, sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in a claimed 2.8 seconds, and tops out at 324 km/h. Maserati also quotes up to 500 kg of downforce.
Why India, and why now
Maserati’s India volumes are small, with annual sales of just over 100 cars, but the company is targeting roughly double that figure over the next few years. The bet is that India’s luxury market, still tiny by global standards, has room to grow quickly.
The timing also matters. Luxury buyers in India have more choice than ever, and brands that show up with a full range and a proper retail presence stand a better chance than those that simply ship a few cars. A flagship Mumbai showroom, a five-model launch and the chief executive’s first visit all point the same way: Maserati is investing in India for the long run.
