Rachin Ravindra is a New Zealand all-rounder who made his mark in the 2023 ODI World Cup, scoring 578 runs and taking five wickets. He is one of the seven Australian World Cup winners who have entered the IPL 2024 auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore.

Ravindra has chosen to enter the auction at a lower price tag of Rs 50 lakh, which could make him an attractive option for teams looking for a versatile and explosive player. He has experience playing in different conditions and formats, and can bat at any position in the order.

Ravindra’s best performance in T20Is came against India in 2019, when he scored 45 runs off 28 balls and took two wickets. He also played a crucial role in New Zealand’s World Cup campaign, especially against India, where he scored 75 runs off 49 balls and took one wicket.

Ravindra has been linked with joining MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who are looking to rebuild their squad after losing some key players like Ben Stokes and Ambati Rayudu. CSK are known for their aggressive and entertaining brand of cricket, which suits Ravindra’s style.

Other teams that could be interested in buying Ravindra are Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, and Punjab Kings. These teams have either openers or middle-order batsmen who can benefit from Ravindra’s all-round skills.
