Who can apply

Engineering graduates in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, IT and related branches are covered, along with planners, architects and commerce graduates with CA or ICWA for finance posts. IT graduates and MCA holders are covered for systems rol/es.
Experience is where most applications will succeed or fail. Deputy General Managers need 12 years, or 14 years in the private sector. Assistant General Managers need nine years, or 11 years in the private sector. Deputy Engineers need five years, or seven years in the private sector.
The maximum age is 53 years for General Manager, 40 years for Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager and Systems Analyst posts, and 35 years for most other posts. Relaxation applies for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and ex-servicemen candidates, but only where the post is advertised in that category.
Selection is shortlisting plus interview
There is no written test. MMRCL will shortlist candidates on eligibility and relevant experience, and shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Calls will come only to the registered email ID, so use an email address and mobile number that will stay active through the process.
Selected candidates on regular or contract appointments will have to execute a surety bond, with the amount depending on the grade, up to Rs 4 lakh for senior grades. The bond period is three years for regular appointments.
