A BJP leader from Mumbai has claimed that the proposed mosque in Ayodhya, which will replace the demolished Babri Masjid, will be more beautiful than the Taj Mahal and will attract people of all faiths. The foundation stone for the mosque, named Masjid Muhammad Bin Abdullah, will be laid by Imam-e-Haram, who leads namaz at the holy mosque in Mecca.

The mosque, which is being constructed at Dhannipur, 25 km from Ayodhya, on a plot provided by the Uttar Pradesh government in accordance with the Supreme Court’s order in the Ayodhya dispute, will be the largest in India and will house the world’s biggest Quran. The Quran will measure 21 feet high and 36 feet wide and will be displayed inside a glass chamber.

The mosque will also have five minarets symbolizing the five pillars of Islam – kalima, namaz, roza, Hajj and zakat. The mosque’s beauty is expected to surpass that of the Taj Mahal. It will also include amenities such as a cancer hospital, schools and colleges, a museum, a library and a vegetarian kitchen.

One of the highlights of the mosque will be a large aquarium near the ablution space, with separate sections for men and women. The aquarium will showcase various aquatic species and educate visitors about marine life.

Another feature of the mosque will be fountains that will come alive at evening coinciding with the call for evening namaz. The fountains will create a soothing ambiance and reflect on water bodies around them.

The foundation stone for the proposed mosque was announced by Haji Arafat Shaikh, a BJP leader from Mumbai and chairman of Masjid Muhammad Bin Abdullah’s Development Committee. He stated that he was appointed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to oversee the construction of the mosque.

Shaikh said that he was honored to have Imam-e-Haram as one of his guests for laying the foundation stone. He said that Imam-e-Haram is one of his spiritual guides and mentors who has inspired him to serve humanity.

Shaikh also said that he envisions Masjid Muhammad Bin Abdullah as more than just a mosque but as a symbol of peace and harmony among people of different religions. He said that he hopes that people from all faiths will visit this monument even if not all of them will pray here.
